Hello, I'm using the c4d r14 application and I need to import a cif file. Can someone instruct me as to how I can do this?
Thanks

Hi,

just open it using the browse button or file-load.
if the file doesn't get read you will have to convert it in pdb format.
http://sw-tools.pdb.org/
or you can use pymol, and save it as a pdb.

thanks. I ended up using avogadro (free easy-to-download app) instead of pymol to convert the cif to pdb
