Hi Sargis,

I'm fairly new to virtual screening and decided to opt for the free PyRx version available on SourceForge in order to get familiar with the tool. I'm comfortable with AutoDock and hence PyRx seems to be ideal for me. I downloaded the PyRx-0.8-Linux-x86-Install binary and tried to install it. However, I'm unable to run the software and the error that shows up is -

Code: Select all
anjali@anjali-linux ~/Software $ Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "/home/anjali/PyRx/runPyRx.py", line 10, in <module>
 import wx
 File "/sargis/PyRx_new/lib/python2.6/site-packages/wx-2.8-gtk2-unicode/wx/__init__.py", line 45, in <module>
 File "/sargis/PyRx_new/lib/python2.6/site-packages/wx-2.8-gtk2-unicode/wx/_core.py", line 4, in <module>
ImportError: libjpeg.so.62: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have already read some threads in the forum regarding the same problem. Moreover I tried -
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install libpng12-0 libglu1-mesa libsdl

Which didn't help.

I also installed the wxPython. Still no luck.

Please help me solve this

System -
OS : Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon 64-bit
Cinnamon Version : 2.6.13
Linux Kernel : 3.16.0-45-generic
