Pyrx-0.9.2-linux-x86_64 installation problems on Fedora20

Postby oivalf_nix » Wed May 21, 2014 7:13 pm

Hy Sargis, how are you.

I need to update my computers and Fedora 14 does not recognize new hardwares.
So, I must install Fedora 20 x86_64bits.
I buy and downloaded Pyrx-0.9.2-linux-x86_64.install and follow instructions
No problems occurred during the installation and the icons were created, but Pyrx does not starts clicking the icons.
So, I try via terminal: ./usr/local/Pyrx-0.9.2/run.sh and nothing happens.
Pyrx simply does not starts.

Any suggestion?

Regards,

Flavio

Hi Flavio,

Thank you for buying PyRx 0.9.2 for 64-bit Linux and sorry about that. I'm now downloading Fedora-Live-Desktop-x86_64-20-1.iso to install and troubleshoot this. I'll update you as soon as I have more info on this.

Regards,
Sargis

I've installed Fedora-Live-Desktop-x86_64-20-1.iso and found that there were some libraries missing. Please run the following command and let me know if it helps:
Code: Select all
sudo yum install -y libpng12.x86_64 SDL.x86_64 mesa-libGLU.x86_64

Thank you for using PyRx!

Just to give you a feedback, I install the libraries and Pyrx works very well. It is faster then ever!
