PyRx won't launch

Postby CptMinister » Wed Feb 20, 2013 5:04 pm

Hello everyone
I tried to install, on three different occasions, PyRx on Ubuntu 12.10; every single time, I got the following error:

libGL error: failed to load driver: r300
libGL error: Try again with LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose for more details.
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
libGL error: Try again with LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose for more details.
The program 'python' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.

PyRx and all its modules used to run fine in Ubuntu 11. Is there any help you could possibly provide for me in order to overcome this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the message. Glad to see PyRx runs fine in Ubuntu 11. For Ubuntu 12.10, you might need to install Graphics Driver. I found this video on how to Install Nvidia / AMD Graphics Drivers in Ubuntu 12.10 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioMeSCoyYng

I haven't run PyRx on Ubuntu 12.10; any updates and info on this is much appreciated.
