how to create a sdf file for virtual screening

Postby dori » Tue Apr 17, 2012 7:45 pm

I checked online and found that I need to create a SMI file then concert it to sdf file. It seems that SMILE is needed to generate SMI file. Is SMILE free software? Is there anybody who can help me with this problem? Thank you so much.

SMILE is not a software; it's a way of representing chemical molecules using short ASCII strings - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simplified ... try_system
Check out SMILES related software utilities at the end of Wikipedia article.

Hello! Is it possible to convert or otherwise extract the information from this SDF.CSH file to make it as .SDF?
I am using DS2.0 in a windows XP platform.

From https://community.accelrys.com/thread/3593:
Try this first:
chmod +x single.sdf.csh
Then run:
./single.sdf.csh
