Hi Autodock Users!
we are quite new in linux systems and trying to install MGLTools there.Although we have been very successful in using AUTODOCk in windows, but here in fedora 9 we are facing troubles in launching PMV and ADT although vision is launching.we are going as per the instructions given in MGLtools website but for some reason ADT window opens after clicking and goes off after 3% initializing. the graphic card we are using is from mesa 2.1
kindly help us as we wish to use autodock for virtual screening of large database which was not possible in windows.

I appreciate a kind advice!!
thanks so much in advance!!

Manish

Hi autodock users
after checking out this link http://n2.nabble.com/ADL-MGLTools-TclEr ... .html#none we thinkthat we might find a solution to our issue.
but please could anyone guide us if we have to remove the mesa card and get nvidia or straight away we could go for the procedure given in the link.
we would really appreciate your advice as general usage of linux is very less in this part of continent and we are newbies in linux.......

Please ask your system administrator to install NVIDIA driver if you are having difficulties installing it. When I installed it for the first time, I read carefully README to find the part where I needed to run "init 3" from command line. Nowadays, most linux distros have (unofficial) support for NVIDIA drives. Google the name of your Linux and NVIDIA to get more info.
